There is nothing 'soft' about Almay Shadow Softies. It is the most coarse eye shadow I have ever used. The powder is very dense and full of glitter. The glitter gets all over your face.

The eye shadow actually felt irritating on my skin. The color was strong, but not crease free. I only tried one color, Smoke. Maybe the non-metallic shades have a different consistency. Comment below on your Almay Shadow Softies experience.

I haven't tried this particular shadow from almay but I have tried a few trios from them. I agre with you on the quality- I've never really been satisfied by almay's shadows
