When the highlighter craze began, I was a bit skeptical at first. Why would I want to make my face greasy and shiny? That happens naturally.

As with most beauty trends, they start out extreme on models and then are toned down for regular people. The first highlighter I actually tried was in my April 2018 Ipsy Glam Bag. I liked it. This highlighter added a little sparkle and sheen to accentuate my cheekbones. I was finally convinced it was time to play with new highlighters. Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter did not disappoint.

Let me start with a note of caution. It is very easy to make a mess with these highlighters. If you squeeze the eyedropper too much; you will have more highlighter than you need for one application. It is best to begin with just a little drop. That way you can build the glow. Start with just a little sparkle or glow from space.

These highlighters are sheer enough, you can probably wear any shade, no matter what your skin-tone is. I thought the Rose Gold shade was going to be too dark on me, but it blends in nicely. Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighters also last a long time. My highlighter looked the same at the end of the day as the beginning when I applied it.
