ColourPop Disney Villains Collection Review

I've been meaning to try the brand ColourPop; and this Villains collection was just too cool to resist.


This limited edition collection has six villains: Hades, Maleficent, Evil Queen, Cruella, Ursula, and Dr. Facilier. It's a shame this makeup collection couldn't be all villainesses, but there aren't very many to choose from. The Ursula and Maleficent sets looked the most fun to me.

I love the design of this collection. The boxes and the highlighter compacts look like a neon sign. The lipstick and lip gloss cases have graphics that represent all of the villains. 

ColourPop Super Shock Highlighters in Poor Unfortunate Souls and Mistress of all Evil

The Super Shock Highlighters are amazing. They have a buttery texture that really melts into your skin. The highlighters give you a bold sheen with fine glitter sparkles. I will definitely have to try more of these in their regular collection.

ColourPop Ursula Matte Lux Lipstick

ColourPop Maleficent Cream Lux Lipstick

The Ursula lipstick is a little dry and hard to apply evenly. The Maleficent lipstick goes on smoothly with decent lasting power.

ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip in Sad But True and My Pet

The lip glosses are very sheer and glittery. They work best as a lip toppers. Sad But True is slightly blue. My Pet is lavender with a pink duochrome.

Overall this was an interesting collection for my introduction to ColourPop. My favorites by far are the Super Shock highlighters and the Maleficent lipstick. The rest were just okay.
