I really liked Nyx's Lippie Countdown last year. Nyx Sugar Trip 24 Days of Beauty looks just as fun.

The design is much more elaborate than last year. It looks like Makeup Candyland with some slightly creepy animals. This year's advent calendar doesn't just have lip products, but also highlighter, blush, and eyeshadow. There are 14 lip colors, 6 eyeshadows, 3 highlighters, and a blush. This product made made my beauty gift list.

The highlighters are not very intense, and somewhat chalky. They work best on top of a cream or liquid highlighter. The Soft Matte Metallic Lip Cream is very gritty. The lip oil is boring and basically colorless. It would work okay on top of a dry lipstick. 

Slip Tease is so messy before it dries. The blush is decent. The eyeshadows have pretty good pigmentation. Candy Stash is creamy. Sweet Tooth is super glittery.    

This was a pretty good group of products. Some of the colors are not my thing. Some more red or purple shades would have been nice. I wish they had included butter lipstick like last year.
